What is “flash” crypto?

Flash (or counterfeit) tokens are fake contracts that copy a real asset's name and symbol - a bogus “USDT”, for example. They can even show a balance in your wallet, but they are worthless and can never be redeemed. VerifScan compares the token's contract address to the official one on record for that asset and network.

Is it safe to connect my wallet?
